As a director he has worked on such films as “When Harry Met Sally” and” Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind”. Recently he completed writing a book entitled “The Power Pause” based on the life of Howard Hughes.
Currently Terence Hill lives in Los Angeles and works as a production assistant for an acting agency. He enjoys traveling to various places in Italy, including Bologna, Florence, Tuscany, Venice, etc. For the past few years he has been teaching acting techniques to high school students in California, particularly those who are interested in a career in acting. During this pastime he also tours Bologna, Florence, Venice, and Rome.
Based upon a true story, “The Power Pause” tells the story of a thirty-something year old American man from California who travels to Italy, then later goes back to the U.S. With his new friend from Los Angeles, he visits and stars in this picture. The movie depicts Terence’s travels in Bologna, Florence, Venice, and eventually going back to Los Angeles. It also follows his rise through the acting industry. Terence played opposite Whoopi Goldberg in the 1999 movie “Ace Ventura: Pet Detective”.
This is a first feature-length feature written and directed by Lucio Franchione. Terence played the role of David Kleinfeld, an American GI who travels to Italy in the late 1960’s to aid the resistance against the German occupation. David (Franchione) returns to the U.S. in the late 1960’s and is assigned to serve as a CIA agent in Tokyo, Japan, in the post war period. While there he helps to save six Americans who were held hostage in the Japanese prison camp of Unit 7 located in occupied Japan.
This is a co-production between Fox Searchlight Pictures and Granada Pictures. It chronicles the life of a young American Vincent Van Gogh (Terencehill) who was a star among the ranks of the artists of the time. In this film producer, Lucio Franchione uses famous images of Van Gogh such as The Starry Night, which is one of his most famous paintings. The film producer, Simon Beaufroy, also used recognizable images of Terence Hill from his films such as Noises Off and Blowin’ In The Wind. He wanted to cast Terence Hill based on the script he had written which focused on the life of Van Gogh.
This is a British movie that chronicles Terence Hill’s travels across Italy and France in search of the glimmering beaches in Venice and the vibrant and colorful culture of its people. The late Christopher Reeve plays the role of the young American tourist, while also featuring Michael Caine, Marilu Henner and Emmett Fisher. The late John Ritter also features in this movie, as does Kevin Spacey as an American from Ohio. The late Carol Burnett also does a voice-over, as does Emmit Smith. The late Roger Lloyd Pack and Frank Sinatra is also featured in the film.
This Italian thriller stars Francesco Giuca, Fabio Di Caprio, Vallejo, Giancarlo Esposito, Daniella Gazzola and Walter Matthau. The late Al Pacino also appears in one of the films in this series, as does Robert DeNiro. A few years ago, Giuca, Di Caprio and Esposito teamed up to make another movie in the spaghetti western franchise named Me and My Old Man. That film eventually went on to be turned into The Godfather of Modern Romance.
The late Peter Lawford is another star of the spaghetti westerns, who also appeared in some of the better-known movies in this genre such as True Grit and The Searchers. The late Michael J Fox also appeared in a couple of these movies. These Italian films are some of my favorites of all time. They are some of the best films of all time. I recommend them to anyone who has not seen them.
